This month I thought that I'd give a still life a try, something I've not done before. I usually prefer to stick to landscapes but having seen so many inspiring flower paintings on Instagram recently I thought "why not give it a go?", well I think I should have maybe started with something a little bit simpler as I found this beautiful bunch of flowers quite a challenge, hence this months' painting is not quite finished yet and as Whitsun half-term holiday is
upon us it will now have to wait until my daughter is back at school for its completion. However, having said that, I am really pleased with the results so far, maybe I should challenge myself more often!
