Despite having said that I didn't ever want to lay eyes on another Christmas bauble again after my last attempt at painting one of Teddi Parker's bauble still life references, well guess what I am a glutton for punishment!
Here's my latest attempt, I thought it would be a great challenge and to challenge oneself is to grow and get better isn't it? Plus I thought it would be nice to paint something festive in the run up to Christmas. So thank you Teddi for the reference photo which I've attached along with some progression photos if you're interested.

I will be at the Quay Arts Christmas Cracker Weekend event on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December where I will be selling some original paintings, prints and cards along with other local craft makers and artists so do pop along if you can it's open 9am - 5pm.
