This month I've been busy preparing for the 'Isle of Wight Open Studios' event taking place across the Island in July. Unfortunately this takes me away from the creative side of things hence not much to show on the art front this month, however I have been doing lots of other things behind the scenes ie photographing, printing, mounting, varnishing, framing and getting paintings ready to hang to name a few! This will be my second time in taking part and this year I will be joined by fellow Isle of Wight artist Richard Grant who paints mainly historical transport scenes, we will both be exhibiting in the adjoining back room of the Godshill Methodist Church in Godshill on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th July from 10am-5pm each day.
There will be framed and unframed original paintings, framed prints, mounted prints, some cards and a few canvas prints (I have got a very small number of canvas prints printed of my recent digital art.)
As well as exhibiting in Godshill I am also taking part in the Isle of Wight Arts Open Studios showcase exhibition in the West Gallery at the Quay Arts Centre, Newport, which will be running from Saturday 6th - Saturday 27th July.
