February has felt like an extremely long month for me considering it only has 28 days in it this year, but for many others I can only imagine how long these last few days and nights must have felt and I've been totally shocked and appalled by events that are happening in Europe and pray for all of the innocent people caught up in it.
Although it doesn't feel right for me to be talking about my art right now, I think it is acceptable to have welcome distractions and a reminder of all the good and the beauty that does exist in our world which we need to savour at the moment. This is the second of two sunset paintings that I have painted this month, and I sincerely hope that the good and the beautiful will triumph, overshadow and eradicate this terrible evil.
