Fresh off the easel this month is the view looking down towards 'Steephill Cove' in Ventnor, Isle of Wight. This painting was inspired by a photo I took one late afternoon around the beginning of February a couple of years ago, we'd been out walking the dog and as I walked back up the hill I turned around and saw the sun's rays poking through the clouds, I've been meaning to paint this scene ever since.
As you can see I have turned it into my own colourful, magical world using watercolour and then by adding pastel on top in a few areas!
